OKLAHOMA CITY – Drivers in western Nebraska have a new place to park and access driver services, as well as enjoy made-to-order breakfast, lunch and dinner foods any time of day. The new Love’s Travel Stop, which includes an IHOP Express restaurant, opened for business May 19 along Interstate 80, Exit 59.
“The opening of the Sidney location marks Love’s first travel stop with an IHOP Express,” said Greg Love, Co-CEO of Love’s Travel Stops. “We’re proud to partner with the leading family restaurant brand to provide service to a new part of Nebraska. We constantly examine how we can expand dining offerings to our customers and we believe the IHOP Express model, which offers the most popular IHOP food and drink choices, will meet the needs of our on-the-go customers.”
IHOP Express is a convenient way for guests to enjoy IHOP signature food and beverages, even when visiting a local IHOP restaurant isn’t an option. In addition to breakfast served all day — like their world-famous buttermilk pancakes, hickory-smoked bacon and never-ending coffee pot — guests can also choose from delicious lunch and dinner menu items.
The travel stop and IHOP Express will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. IHOP Express guests order food from the convenience of a service counter with food delivered by a team member to the dining area.
“One of our top priorities is being where our guests need and want us to be. We are excited that by partnering with Love’s Travel Stops, more people will be able to enjoy the signature, made-fresh breakfast foods IHOP is known for all day, every day,” said Jim Anhut, senior vice president, development, DineEquity Inc. “Love’s unparalleled leadership in the travel stop category is an ideal match for IHOP and reflects our shared commitment to providing guests with excellent food options and service.”
In addition to the IHOP Express, the Sidney Love’s features seven showers, 88 truck-parking spaces, a Love’s Truck Tire Care center, CAT scales, RFID cardless fueling, as well as gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift merchandise, name-brand electronics and more. A 68-room Comfort Inn & Suites will open adjacent to the travel stop in late 2016. Professional drivers with a valid commercial driver’s license will be eligible for discounted room rates.
Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores is headquartered in Oklahoma City. Founded in 1964, Love’s has more than 370 locations in 40 states. Love’s provides professional truck drivers and motorists with 24-hour access to clean and safe places to purchase gasoline, diesel fuel, travel items, electronics, snacks and more, as well as a selection of restaurant offerings.
