Peel Regional Police arrived at Ordan and Meyerside drives at 12:20 pm, but there was clearly going to be a challenge for any related paperwork. “He couldn’t read their licence plate,” says Const George Tudos, referring to the wriggling mass that stretched across the bumper.

Surprisingly, though, the officer on the scene was able to find support from a colleague who is actually a bee expert.
“It sounds like the queen bee left the nest, and the bees had to find somewhere else to go,” Tudos explains. The truck was merely a rest area for them before continuing the journey. Police simply tweeted out a warning to the public and continued on their way, too.
“I don’t think this person got a ticket for obstruct plate,” Tudos jokes. “That wouldn’t ‘bee’ cool.”
