WORKWAVE REBRANDS, UPDATES ROUTE PLANNING SOLUTION PRODUCT HELPS FLEETS PLAN, ROUTE, TRACK AND ANALYZE ON SINGLE PLATFORM

WorkWave, a provider of cloud- based software solutions for field service management and “last mile” fleet management, announced that it has added three critical enhancements to its route planning solution, leading to a rebranding of the solution.
WorkWave Fleet, the company’s proprietary route planning software, has been rebranded as WorkWave Route Manager. WorkWave Route Manager allows users to easily manage schedules, drivers and customers. This rebranding more accurately defines WorkWave’s complete product offering for last-mile transportation and logistics companies.
Concurrently, according to the company, WorkWave Route Manager has incorporated three enhancements to fulfill its vision of being the on-demand enabler for last-mile delivery companies.
Riccardo Bocci, product manager of WorkWave Route Manager, states: “Our customers told us they needed to be even more efficient and competitive in today’s on-demand, time-compressed world. We responded by making our comprehensive route planning solution even more robust and answering their need to provide exceptional customer experience.”
According to the company, enhancements include:
1. GPS integration: From one screen, planners can instantly locate their vehicles and react smarter and faster to last-minute changes. Communication between drivers and the office is streamlined, and information is available so planners can provide customers with real-time status updates.
2. Proof of delivery: Drivers can capture photos, signatures and notes that sync back to the office using WorkWave Route Manager’s mobile app.
3. APIs: Companies can integrate WorkWave Route Manager with their fleet management solution and benefit by automated processes.
