Show truck vet Jake Lindamood and his 1988 Peterbilt 379 heavy hauler picked up the Best of Show nod this weekend at the 34th annual Shell Rotella SuperRigs working show truck beauty contest, besting a crowded field of 89 participants throughout the weekend’s three days of festivities.Lindamood picked up a total of $15,000 for the victory — $10,000 from Shell and $5,000 from Mac trailer — along with a spot in the 2017 Shell Rotella SuperRigs calendar.
The Dallas, Texas-based Lindamood owns and operates Lindamood Demolition, running about 70 trucks in the operation.
Taking the second overall spot at the SuperRigs competition was Jay Blackburn and his 2015 Peterbilt 389. Blackburn won a total of $7,000 — $4,000 from Shell and $3,000 from Mac. Blackburn is based in Fennimore, Wis.

Lastly, Charles Self of Neosho, Wis., won third with his 2004 Peterbilt 379. Self won a total of $4,000 — $2,000 from Shell and $2,000 from Mac.
