1.Во сад, брашното се меша со солта, маслото и оцетот. Постепено се додава водата и се замесува тесто кое не се лепи на рацете и е мазно. Тестото се дели на две еднакви половини, се завиткува во пластична фолија и се остава во ладилник најмалку половина час.
2.На набрашнета површина, со помош на оклагија и сукало се расукува тенка кора со големина од околу 50 см. Кората се премачкува со половина од маргаринот (маргаринот НЕ СМЕЕ да биде течен и топол, тој треба да биде омекнат и да ја поприми собната температура).
3.Кората се сече на 12 дела но така што средината останува цела. Потоа секое парче се префрла на внатрешна страна. Се префрлуваат парчињата едни врз други и по можност малку се подрашируваат со рака.
4.Лисната топка се замотува во фолија и се остава во ладилник да се „одмори“ најмалку 1 саат (но може и подолго време, на пример 1 ден). На ист начин се постапува и со втората топка.
5.Се подготвува филот: во сад, обарениот спанаќ се меша со издробеното со рака сирење, се додаваат јајцата и убаво се хомогенизира целата смеса.
6.Се сука кора со големина од околу 50-60 cм, се намотува на сукалото и се пренесува на намачканата со масло тепсијата. Кората е поголема од тепсијата и еден мал дел од неа треба да се остави да виси надвор од тепсијата за да може на крајот да се направи витката.
7.Врз првата кора се става филот, се раширува по целата површина и врз филот се става втората раширена кора. И таа е поголема од тепсијата, внимателно и рамномерно се гужва без да останат делови надвор од тепсијата.
8.Со остатокот од кората се прави витката. Пред да се пече, горната кора, со помош на виљушка се дупнува на повеќе места за да остане питата рамна, т.е воздухот кој се создава од филот да излезe.
9.Питата се става во згреана рерна на 220 С и веднаш се намалува на 200 С. Се пече 20-30 минути додека горната кора убаво порумени.
10.Испечена, со помош на четка, се премачкува со тенок слој растопен маргарин, путер или масло, а може и маст, се покрива и се остава да се олади.
